What information is contained in the raw
MIDT? |

The raw data that you purchase from the CRS's
consists of flight bookings which contain information fields
such as airline code, board/off cities, booking status code,
passenger count, flight number, class of service, booking date,
departure date, agency name, ARC/IATA number, pseudo city code,
PNR locator and cancellation indicator. |

What is the difference between the raw
data and the processed data? |
| A: |
The raw data is in segment form. When the data
is processed, it is validated and converted into a true origin
and destination format (O & D). As a result, you will see
where a particular passenger truly originated and where his
final destination was. Also, cancelled bookings are netted out
to reflect true passenger travel. |

by the 10th of the month in most cases. Daily data will be shipped

Does DOB offer Completely Web Based Internet tools? |

Yes, DOB offers web-based tools. There are pros and cons to completely internet
based solutions that should be considered. Web based tools allow you to access
and analyze data via the web without having to incur the high costs of setup,
data storage, and maintenance. However, if the offsite data warehouse is down
or if there are problems with Internet access, then your entire airline could
be temporarily unable to access the information. Depending on the type of
analysis, a completely web based Internet tool may or may not be the most
efficient solution. DOB Systems offers different types of solutions for
different types of analysis. |
